Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, arguably the most watchable duo in all of motion picture history, are as enjoyable as ever in this comedy about the goings-on in the research department of a large company. Katharine Hepburn is a genius with a photographic memory; she works for the department. Spencer Tracy is an efficiency expert hired to observe, making everyone nervous. As if Tracy and Hepburn weren't reason enough to see the film (watch for a beautiful, funny scene where Tracy gives Hepburn a questionnaire over lunch), some early Hollywood perceptions of computers may also be intriguing.
